Past week, she brought back the exercise book that her teachers wish her to finish her homework at home and accompany with daddy and mummy. She choose me to accompany her. :s

A actually not only stand for apple, but also ant, aeroplane and asparagus, etc.

The bread spread with peanut berry and cut out shape of bread with nutella chocolate jam. I packed it with some grapes and mini pudding and her sweet. She saw it from morning market and this is first time she insist to buy simply because she can not only eat but also read out the wording of A woh.... ;s

I got my red apple pick form Bento Berries and other picks I got it from either 100 yen shop or Daiso.

X-ray for you Bento

Word of the day: X x

Olivia said X for X-ray which by using this device it help us to see our bone.
:) Without thinking too much, I made this for her.

I use parchment paper to trace out bone picture from the Internet. Cut out the bone shape from the parchment paper.  Abstract out the outline by toothpicks or sharp knife. Wrap it back and store them in the fridge. (same process goes to wording of X)

I apply strawberry jam for the bread, grapes and strawberry. Placed the cheese bone onto the seaweed which I layer with cheese and use girls pick to show the girl is having x-ray process and see her bone. ;)

Lastly, spread over the bread with little cupcake sprinklers.

p/s: Can you spot out my wooden tray? ^-^

Naughty Whale splashing Water Bento

Word for the day: W w
Water and Whale

I used to sketch before I start bento. I sketch out the whale look so cutey and sweet and and bringing it into food type it end up the whale look so funky and naughty.

I made pocket bread filling with egg mayo.

Portion: 4 adults 1 child

Ingredients:-
~ 4 eggs
~ Mayonnaise
~ Butter
~Salt (Salted butter will do)
~ Pepper

Method:-
1) Boil the egg with low fire about 15-20 minutes. Turn off the flame and pour out the water.
2) Peel off the egg shell and placed the egg into another bowl.
3) Smash the egg and adding butter, mayo and pinch of salt and pepper. I use butter instead of salted butter as senior citizen are encourage not to take salty food.
4) Filling the egg mayo to the bread. If you have pocket mould, it help you to seal up along the sideline so that our little one can eat it in easy way. Cut the bread into half (showed as picture above)

Tip: Olivia always love to help mummy but I normally will let her peel the egg inside the water at least it will not hurt her.

Girl with her Violin Bento

Word for the day: V
V for Violin

This term Olivia is learning alphabet of V and thanks to her form teacher who is kind enough to let me know her this whole month teaching subjects and material. It is also give me more idea through the food and also my brain can have short break whenever I am dried of idea.

Made a girl with her violin. I mixed the white rice and brown rice for the 2 little one. Hair and facial expression use nori, violin is made by chicken nuggets and pork meatballs, form of V by using 2 carrots (not really stand out), broccoli and cream corn soup.

Dessert is Mango pudding (not in pictures) which it is kept in the fridge. I noticed if I put the pudding together, she tends to finish pudding before take her main course.

During her meal after the first two scoop, she hug me with thanks to providing her this delicious food. Oh...it melts my hearts and I never expect she appreciate.

After meal, Olivia told me she love my own custom make meatball rather than those nuggets. I
